This position will work in our Main Campus Blood Bank and our Mobile Unit which travels across SD, IA and MN.

Job Summary
Responsible for collecting blood from donors using both traditional as well as apheresis, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of the donor following established standards and practices.
Responsible to process phone calls, donor cancellations, and other inquiries regarding blood donations.
Education and / or Experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related phlebotomy experience plus hands-on training in apheresis blood collection preferred.
- Previous patient contact experience is highly desired.
- This position requires basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Schedule
- Varied Day and Evening Schedule; Shifts can start as early as 6 am and end as late as 10 pm
- Occasional Weekend Rotation
- Full Time; 80 hours every 2 weeks
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.25 - $24.00 per hour
